Figure Drawings

Well after almost six months, I've finally gotten my lazy butt back into some figure drawing workshops... and feelin good about it. I found a couple of places around my job so its very convenient to attend after work. It feels good to get the charcoal pencils and newsprint out again and I've met some pretty cool artists. I'm going to try really hard to go on a regular basis. Here's some of the drawings.

Locke

A drawing I did of Locke in photoshop. Still experimenting with painting in photoshop so for this I started out painting in greyscale and overlayed it with color. I'm fairly satisfied with the results. On a side note "Lost" is the best television show ever and am eagerly awaiting the final season.

SP Related Stuff

Well it's officially been a whole year working as a Technical Director at South Park and just wanted to share some sp related stuff. I would best describe the position as a clean up artist almost since we're basically going into past episodes and making sure they look good for high definition tv. The gig has been decent so far.... It may not be too creatively rewarding but I have picked up some new tricks in maya as well as learned some new programs like Shake and Motion. I do work with some cool people and it is pretty sweet to see your name on television credits.
